This is a workshop, not a call centre. Whoever answers has almost certainly had a soldering iron in hand that morning.

Write about anything: a machine that will not boot, a module you wish existed, a question about whether your board will fit one of our cases, or an order that needs to go somewhere unusual. We have posted these things to more countries than we expected to.

If you are a shop, a museum or a distributor, say so in the first line — trade goes down a different path and starts at ten units.

Two things save everybody time. Tell us what you want and how many. If it is about a case, tell us what is going inside it — an original 48K, an Issue 6A, or a Harlequin — because the cut-outs differ.

We do not repair, diagnose or service machines that were not bought here, and we do not take in other people’s Spectrums for fault-finding. If yours has given up, a fresh board or a new case kit is usually the shortest road back — both are in the shop.
